About Digivarsity

Digivarsity is a digital higher-education platform operated by TeamLease EdTech Limited. It lists, markets and promotes academic programs offered by partner universities and institutions across multiple modes of learning, including Online, Open and Distance Learning (ODL), Work-Linked Degree, Campus Degree, and Executive Education programs. Through Digivarsity, students can discover programs, apply, and pay applicable fees in one integrated digital journey.

Digivarsity is not a university. It does not deliver instruction, conduct examinations, evaluate students, or award degrees or credentials. All academic delivery and certification rests with the partner university or institution offering the program.

Relationship with Partner Universities

Digivarsity acts as an authorised marketing, discovery and technology partner to its partner universities and institutions. Decisions regarding eligibility, admission, curriculum, mode of delivery, examinations, evaluation, and award of degrees rest solely with the partner university. Information about programs displayed on the platform is provided by the respective universities; while Digivarsity makes reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate and current, students are encouraged to verify program details on the university’s official website before enrolling.

Nothing on the platform creates a partnership, agency, or joint venture between Digivarsity and any university, or between Digivarsity and any user.

Application and Fee Payment

Digivarsity is a technology platform that enables a seamless application and payment experience on behalf of its partner universities and institutions. Every application submitted through the platform is processed on behalf of, and recorded with, the partner university offering the program.

Digivarsity does not grant or process admissions on behalf of any partner institution. Submission of an application does not constitute admission, which is confirmed solely by the partner university through an official admission letter or equivalent communication.

Fees displayed on the platform are set by the respective partner university and may include application, registration, tuition and other applicable charges. Digivarsity does not accept any direct payments for programs offered by its partner institutions. All payments are collected via a secure payment gateway strictly on behalf of the partner university and remitted to it. The official fee receipt and admission record are issued by the university, while Digivarsity may provide an additional transaction confirmation for the student's reference.

By using the platform, the student consents to receiving communications from Digivarsity and the partner university by email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications or telephone regarding the application, admission, fee payment and onboarding process.

Refund Policy

Refunds in respect of fees paid through the platform are governed by the refund policy of the respective partner university, which is aligned with the applicable directions of the University Grants Commission (UGC), including the UGC Notification on Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates and any subsequent UGC fee-refund policies issued from time to time.

Where a program is not covered by the UGC norms (for example, certain short-term Executive Education or certificate programs), the refund policy notified by the partner institution at the time of enrolment will apply and the student accepts that policy on enrolment.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the channels notified on the platform, along with the application and payment reference. Eligible refunds will be processed by the partner university within the timelines prescribed by UGC and credited to the original mode of payment. Payment-gateway charges, non-recoverable taxes and any permitted processing fee may be deducted from the refund amount.

Right to Amend

Digivarsity reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, as well as platform policies and program information, at any time. Any changes will take effect from the date they are published on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
